GLORIA FOR BRASS AND CHOIR

Triangle Brass Band
Thursday, December 12 at 7:00 pm
Christ Baptist Church
400 Newton Road in Raleigh

Our feature work is a stunning new arrangement of John Rutter’s choral classic “Gloria,” as transcribed by local music educator Austin Greene.  We are joined by a massed choir from local schools, including members of the Cary Concert Chorus, Green Hope Voices of Hope, Middle Creek Advanced Choral Ensemble, Panther Creek Chamber Choir, and Sanderson Sandpipers.  In addition, we’ll perform a selection of brass band classics, such as “Enter the Galaxies,” by Paul Lovatt-Cooper and “Canterbury Chorale,” by Jan Van der Roost, as well popular holiday music, including special arrangements of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and “Joy to the World.”
