GLORIA FOR BRASS AND CHOIR
Triangle Brass Band
Thursday, December 12 at 7:00 pm
Christ Baptist Church
400 Newton Road in Raleigh
Our feature work is a stunning new arrangement of John Rutter’s choral classic “Gloria,” as transcribed by local music educator Austin Greene. We are joined by a massed choir from local schools, including members of the Cary Concert Chorus, Green Hope Voices of Hope, Panther Creek Chamber Choir, and Sanderson Sandpipers. In addition, we’ll perform a selection of brass band classics, such as “Enter the Galaxies,” by Paul Lovatt-Cooper and “Canterbury Chorale,” by Jan Van der Roost, as well popular holiday music, including special arrangements of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and “Joy to the World.”
