Music can transport us without ever leaving our seats. Soundscapes explores the ways composers use sound to evoke places, images, moods, and memories. Triangle Youth Brass Bands take listeners through contrasting musical landscapes, from expansive and atmospheric moments to music filled with movement and energy. Each work offers a different perspective on the world around us, showing how an ensemble can create vivid pictures and tell stories without words. It’s a program about listening closely—and discovering just how much a brass band can make us imagine.
